Tulip Sunday

I went to Tulip Sunday.

There were lots of bands playing there.

The huge hill:
I climbed up this big hill. It has lots of long grass on it as you can see.

The multi coloured tulip:

I took a photo of this multi coloured tulip. I think it looks cool.

The bright red tulip:
This bright red tulip looks rather striking doesn't it?

The yellow and maroon tulips:

These yellow and maroon tulips look cool don't they?

Here are some white tulips. They look pretty don't you think?

My fantastic holiday

We went on holidays.

I had lots of fun. It was awesome. We got to go to Hamilton and Auckland and Taupo.

I took Mum's snowman and threw it at Mum when she wasn't looking!


I went in the fake shark at Kelly Talton's in Auckland.

We saw sharks, penguins and fish and stingrays and eels. We were in a tunnel and the sharks swam beside us. The stingray mouth is underneath.

We painted some paintings while we were away.

On the way back we saw a waterfall and I thought it was awesome.

We had spa bath with bubbles covering the whole bath.

We went up in the Sky Tower and got one souvenir. I went on the glass floor. It was really thick glass. It was a long long way down to the ground...tonnes of metres. We saw buildings, boats, the harbour, the bridge, shops the city, roads. We just about saw the whole of New Zealand.

We went to the zoo as you can see. Can you see the big Rhino's head? We saw a baby Rhino.

We saw the tiger.

and pigs - and the pigs bite. there are two types as you can see.

My holiday

We went to Auckland, Taupo and Hamilton on our holidays.

On our way to Hamilton Ronnie got car sick and threw up in the car. Yuck!

I went to Hamilton Zoo.

It was very fun. My favourite things were the Rhinos, Taipir and the Lemurs. this is a green Lizard. Can you see it in the picture.



I also went to Kelly Talton's aquarium in Auckland.

I saw heaps of different fish. There were 98 penguins and there were piranhas and seahorses and big squids.

Snow

On the way home the Desert road was closed so we had to go through the National Park. Unfortunately there was big snow storm and we had to go through it. We stopped at the side of the road and had a snow fight. Mum made a snowman.

Sky Tower

We went to the Sky Tower in Auckland. I stood on the glass floor - you could see the roads below. Cars were the size of ants because it was so high up.

Huka Falls

At Taupo we went to see the Huka Falls. It had been raining and so there was lots of extra water. I took the video below. There was a jet boat that was in the river.

The Petone Winter Carnival

I went to the Petone winter carnival yesterday and I went on this ROCKIN' TUG it's a really fun ride. I also watched some street performers. I also played put the ball in the clown's mouth, and got 13 points and won a necklace. For the rides there was also cup and saucer and the dragon roller coaster.

Southward Car Museum

we went to the car museum and saw these cars.



I drove this car.

I like this Cadillac and its trailer.

I like the gangster car and the bullet holes.

I am nearly 6.

Bird show

At the bird show it was great fun and we saw many different types of ducks chickens and pigeons.

This cock is the Champion Hard Feather Bantam 2009 at the bird show.

This is a pigeon with a fluffy collar.

This black duck is the Champion Waterfowl 2009 at the bird show.

This rooster's breed is Plymouth Rock.

Looking at all of the birds was fun!

Visit to Huntaway Lodge

These alpacas are at Huntaway Lodge. Alpacas are different colours.

This alpaca is nibbling my hair. It tickled.
