my holidays

For xmas I got a 24 inch long bike its got 7 gears at the back and 3 at the front . I also got headphones , a torch , a pin ball , soccer ball , and a whole heap of other stuff.

Roller-blading in the park

Me and Ashley went to Avalon Park to do roller blading. It was really fun. We got really hot.

Merry Christmas from Rory.

For Xmas I spent the day at my Uncle and Aunty's place in Upper Hutt.

I helped hand out the presents, played on the trampoline (look at my hair) and got in the hot tub.

I got a new notebook computer!

On boxing day we went to my Grandparents place "Bracadale" outside Levin.

Dad me and the 3 dogs went for a swim in the Ohau river which runs past their place.

We had tea down at their "cottage" which over 100 people have stayed at over the last year.

On Christmas I got head phones and a guitar and a drum and I got a torch what winds up and I got Lego.

And 1 remote control and 2 cars.

Believe it or not, there was even a mini TV on the back of the seat in the airplane! I have watched Madagasda and Simpsons.

It was a 30 hours trip becuase of the snowstorm in China. I vomitted at last.

I saw frost on the windows. Snow is everywhere. I feel really cold.

I picked up some Chinese, more and more every day. They don't normally celebrate Chritmas. But we have a Christmas tree and presents in my grandparent's apartment.

Fun with Ruffy

It's the 22/12/08 today and I went horseriding at a place called Horse Lovers. My horse was called Ruffy and my Mum's was called Moko and my Dad's was called Toms. It was really fun!!

Reading Club

Each star is a quarter of an hour of reading and when you get to 20 hours you can go to a party.

I am going to China

I will be on the plane at 7pm today from Wellington to Auckland; and 11:30pm from Auckland to Shanghai (more than 11 hours' flight). Then we have to get to another airport in Shanghai for another one-hour flight. At last a 3-hour driving to my grandma's house. The name of the town is Laizhou, you may find it between Yantai and Qingdao on the map.

I will see all the family members of my mother's side, from HER grandparents, my grandparents and their brothers and sisters, to my uncle and his young daughter.

It will be cold!

Me, Aaron, Hazel and Fiann have made this werewolf suit called the "wear" wolf.

We made it for the wearable arts competition.

We got into the finals.

We didn't win but we are very proud of what we made.

I went to Auckland Zoo and there were new tiger cubs! and there were cheetahs.

Kiwi

I made a kiwi in the holidays. This is me and Ronnie and the kiwi.

The Kiwi's name is 'Kiwi' and his nick-name is 'Kiwifruit.'

I designed this kiwi myself without any help.

I went on holiday to the south island in a camper van. We went to kaikora and hanmer springs. Weplayed in to the snow and went in the hot pools twice.

Me and Samantha went to the bike riding track at Avalon Park, and we had a good time stopping at the train track. It was cool.

Wairarapa playground

In the holidays we went to the Wairarapa to see the medieval knight weapons but it was closed when we got there. Then we went and got some fish and chips. I had a hotdog. We ate our food on a picnic table next to the playground. After eating we went to the playground and I went on the flying fox....

I love the holidays, don't you!

Rock climbing

I like school the most. And I like choosing work. I like my teachers. My teachers are Karen and Gillian and Marissa. I like going to the zoo. My favourite works are spooning and pouring. I like making apple scones and raisin scones. And I like apple cake which is my first time ever I like it and I eat it all. And I like being on holiday and I liked going rock climbing two times which is more different.

Going back to School

I like school, school is fun. What I like about school is that you get to do language which I like a lot. My favourite part in language is the small farm. My new teachers' names are Sharon and Leanne.

A Walk in Belmont Park

We went on a really different walk in Belmont Park and there were dinosaurs there. It was a really long time ago. 24399 weeks ago. Shadow is a nice black hairy dog. He always follows me when I've got food in my hand. I had a sleepover at Joshua's house for my first time ever. And I got to go to his birthday party.

This is what I look like after my bike ride. It was very long! It was by the Hutt River. I got very tired. It was hard mountain biking. I fell off three times and I grazed my knee. Ouch that hurt!
